Some people think they have the skill that is wanted and don't need to train....as for "so why get that extra rep when no one else cares?" I do it for the guy next to me....I may have to carry is butt out of a fire fight some day. I want to get him to care so I can run back and kill the terrorist that just hurt my buddy!

James, Good comments. I have seen draft boards having him going anywhere from 10 to 5th round. I bet someone takes a gamble later first round on him. The drop off from the top few picks to 10 is millions of dollars. He did have some good game film, put worth ethic is key! I have seen a lot of boards (two days ago, things change quick)that have Cushing going to the Patriots, which is fine with me (grew up in New England)!

The purpose of the post though is motivation. Andre Smith is an example of someone that has fallen off and doesn't appear to want it anymore. You brought up a good example of Cushing who is pushing himself to chase the dream.

A lot of people are saying that Smith will go within the top 10 to 15 picks (the Raiders and Redskins are popular landing points for him).

As a Redskins fan, I'm hoping for a truly driven individual like USC OLB Brian Cushing who has been killing it at DeFranco's gym since he was in HS.

But that's just me.........
