You Can’t Buy Motivation Part II

March 14, 2009 on 7:29 am | In Exercise Inspiration And Motivation, Football Strength Workouts, Strength Training | 1 Comment

A quick and shorter follow up to yesterday’s post.  I have another combine story about a few years back, an unknown lineman from BYU broke into the first few rounds by working insanely hard and putting up amazing numbers.  I’ll save that for another day, keep the reading to a minimum, and add a video.  In yesterday’s comments, a poster mentioned Brian Cushing from USC.  Another athlete that works hard, not for the millions (and he will earn them in the pros) but for the sake of being the best possible EVERY DAY.

When I was down at Defranco’s this past fall talking to Joe, I could get a feel for his passion for training.  It reflects in his athletes.   Here is a compilation of training and football.  Unfortunatley You can’t hear what Brian is saying about the workouts, but you can see and almost taste the intensity!

Hard Work is contagious.  Get out there and spread it.

  1. Here is another video where you can hear the training talk with Cushing, if you don’t mind getting annoyed by Deon Sanders at the end
