5 Ways To Improve Your Fitness During Your School Day
As a so-so high-school athlete, I didn’t give much thought to my strength, and forget about things like flexibility, nutrition, etc. I was on all the teams because we got to go on lots of trips and basketball made the winter go by a little quicker.
Now that I’m older and maybe a teensy bit wiser, I wish I’d done some things differently. At 31 years old, I am in the best shape of my life, but I am still trying to undo some less-than-advantageous choices I made way back in High School.
Good habits start early. Unfortunately, so do bad ones. It can be incredibly difficult to break a mental habit, but you can do it. It can be much harder and more labor-intensive to retrain your body once it has learned some bad habits.
Looking back, here are five things I would have done differently to increase my athletic ability and overall strength.
