In Crazy Weekend Part One I mentioned that tearing and bending was a lot of fun and highly addictive. On Saturday, the training shifted from fun feats to debilitating leg soreness!
Saturday morning I brought a group of guys to train with my friends over at the Diesel Crew. It was a normal serious training session with a few personal records. I FINALLY beat my younger brother with 225 lbs for reps on the bench (26 reps), but I’m sure he will bounce back and take the title soon. Pat’s a fighter.

Jake, who has been on the Bull Strength Program for a year now hit an easy 275 lb on the bench (not bad being 14 years old and not in high school yet.) That is WAY stronger than I was at that age, probably double!
The session continued with some great work and I will get a video up this week. However, immediately following the session we went down to the football field to hit the dreaded Lunges Of Death.
*Note: Around the 50 yard line I lost most control over my right leg and you can see my toe just dragging each step the rest of they way.
Lunges of Death
I’m impressed with all the guys powering through it with nothing more than a stutter once or twice. It was every bit as hard as I thought it would be!
But that’s not the end of it….
My group came back to my place and BBQ’d. Side note: I love a good BBQ.
After that I went BACK out to Smitty’s (after they ran some hills) and it was relax time. See not everything in my life is training, haha!
He had just bought an Xbox and wanted to see how my high kick tasted in his UFC video game. I gladly obliged (aka, I pressed one button as fast as I could). We watched UFC 101 (disappointing in my opinion), and I came home at 2 am, which is rare, because I love sleep.

But, on the ride home I had an idea to provide the Synergy Readers with more content, and I couldn’t get to sleep. I popped open the computer and organized my Youtube videos into 4 main series. Took in 8 AM, but I was really enjoying this new way to provide solutions!
Newly organized YouTube series here (Pay attention to the annotations):
I have a lot of videos to put out again, please subscribe!
