Joe, I was reading your site and noticed that you do/use a lot of different methods along with traditional resistance exercise. I also noticed that you use terminology like “finisher” a lot. I was wondering if you use a form of traditional periodization and incorporate these “unconventional” methods or if you use conjugate periodization where a lot of these methods fit just fine. – Chad

I use the conjugated method as my primary style of periodization. “Finsher” is a term I use, not sure if it is official, but its a fun, competitive, usually team building style exercise I use with my training group or the athletes I train with at the end of the workout. Not every day, usually once or twice a week depending on their energy level, the difficulty of the workout, or what I am planning on doing the next day.
In the Bull Strength Manual I list give many options for “finishers” that we have used for our athletes. The first copies are hot off the press today for a final review!
