Jim Smith is a co-found of the Diesel Crew. Smitty is well known for his innovative strength training methods and his best selling manuals including Combat Core, Accelerated Muscular Development, and Amped (with Joe Defranco).

Joe Hashey, BS, MAT, CSCS
Joe Hashey owns and operates Synergy Athletics. Joe trains a number of athletes and clients at his facility in Binghamton, NY. His athletes accelerate at a variety of sports including football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, swimming, track, wrestling, and MMA. Joe has authored the Bull Strength Training Manual and followed it up with Bull Strength Conditioning.

Scott Caulfield, BS, MTS1, USAW, CSCS *D
Scott holds a BS degree in Physical Education from Castleton State College and is a NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with Distinction. He is the Sports Performance Director at the River Valley Club (RVC) in Lebanon, NH, which is one of the premier training facilities for athletes in the state. Scott has served his country proudly with the US Navy, and he served on the Advisory Board of the Vermont Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. He was the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and Director of Camps for the 2007 & 2008 American Basketball Association Champion Vermont Frost Heaves basketball team.
He currently serves as the NSCA’s Vermont State Director in addition to his duties at RVC and with Dartmouth College Athletics, where he is a strength & conditioning coach for men’s & women’s swimming, football, and rugby. Scott is a frequent presenter at regional and state clinics for the NSCA, VTAHPERD, and NEHRSA, and has had articles featured at EliteFTS.com. He is also a competitive NAS strongman athlete competing in the <200 class, and a contest promoter with his very popular, NH’s Strongest Man & Woman Contest.
